The STORY BEHIND our green company

Waste Re-Engineered is an online platform that connects organic waste producers to sustainable manufacturers.

Sustainable manufacturers have a difficult time finding bulk raw material to buy and use for sustainable product production. Also, organic waste producers dump or burn material that can actually be monetized. We solve these problems by providing a platform that allows sustainable manufacturers and waste  producers to easily connect and complete transactions.

Our MISSION is to facilitate the production of sustainable products by connecting organic waste producers to manufacturers.

Industry trends show many companies are creating sustainable products. For example, IKEA started a new product line made from rice straw, and Eco-Products has been creating compostable packaging and utensils from rice straw and wheat straw.

The graph on the right shows the large quantities of crops produced per year. For scale, 300 million tons of corn are produced per year. This high volume of crop production combined with the trend of companies creating sustainable products shows that the current industry environment is perfect for Waste Re-Engineered.

Our competitive advantage is that we focus on organic waste as opposed to plastic waste.
